The location is fabolous..
The staff is not compotent. They don't have neither the education nor the attitude to serve in such a hotel. When we arrived at the hotel there was a pair of slippers (belonging to the staff cause they took them away after we arrived) on a table right at the reception. In the breakfast the waiter (for the sake of helping me) used his bare hands to grab the slice of bread and put it in the toast machine. then he served me the very same slice of bread. Their outfit seemed dirty and they were smelling. They charged a ridicilious amount for a snack, which pissed us off. We willingly paid fairly well for the room but the food prices are really ugly.

I like sitting by the fireplace with the woman of my dream. It was very romance. The staff tented to our needs and wonts. The view outside my window was beautiful.
On the window looking out to the sea, The shatters would not stay close. We tried several times but it would not lock in place. The wind kept making the shatters to hit the window all night long.. The room number is 101

It is a very nice and suggestive place. An incredible position under the ancient Assos and facing a wonderful bay with a small pretty beach and a fishermen port. View on Lesvos Island. Nice fish restaurant. Quiet and romantic.
Difficult access (we arrived by fully loaded motorcycle) through a narrow bumpy road. We did not expect fluent english speaking personnel, but it was completely impossible to communicate in any language but Turkish, as a result it has been impossible to order what we wanted at the restaurant and to have touristic info. The room was very small (expecially the bed) and there were ants in the room.

Superb location, beautiful old stone building, friendly hotel staff.
Everything cheaply done with bad taste. The owner Hilmi seems nice but he doesnt manage the hotel well: Bad food, Bad taste in everything, it's obvious that everything is cheaply done. The birds inside the building poo on everything and they make so much noise you cannot sleep well. Bad breakfast food with strange looking ham, eggs, tasteless pastry and bread baskets with bird poo stains. My husband has stomach illness from day 1.
